Therapy for Teens & Adults with Anxiety, ADHD and Trauma

Jessie Lamb, LPCC

based in San Diego, CA

On the outside, you look calm, polished, and on top of it. People assume you’re managing just fine. But inside? It’s a different story. Your to-do list reproduces overnight, deadlines sneak up on you, and your brain bounces between genius-level ideas and total shutdown.

You’re smart, ambitious, and deeply capable — but also exhausted, overstimulated, and secretly wondering why everything feels harder for you than it seems to for everyone else.

If this feels like you, or your teen, you’re in the right place.

Therapy can help!

You don’t need to keep white-knuckling your way through this..

Therapy comes in. Not to “fix” you — but to help you understand your brain, work with it, and finally feel more steady in your day-to-day life.

From there, we start building real, sustainable shifts that actually make life feel easier.

In therapy with me we will focus on:

Understanding your patterns (so things stop feeling random or confusing)

Learning how to regulate overwhelm through the body instead of pushing through it

Building systems that work on your real days — not just your best ones

CA Licensed Therapist:

I’m Jess—a therapist, mom, wife, sister, and friend. I’ve spent more than a decade in the mental health field, but what truly shapes my work is my own healing journey.

I’ve been on the other side of the couch—ugly crying week after week, learning how to sit with the parts of me I once tried to outrun. I know the ache of resentment, the fatigue of holding it all together, and the quiet fear that maybe it never gets better.

But it does.

I’m living proof that therapy works—not because it “fixes” you, but because it helps you come home to yourself. That’s the kind of healing I hope to offer here.

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

I take a whole-person approach to therapy. You’re not just a set of symptoms—you’re human, with emotions, habits, and patterns that all connect. Our work isn’t about fixing you, but about understanding what your mind and body have been trying to say. Together, we’ll untangle what’s been feeling heavy and build rhythms that feel steady and true to you.
